I don't feel that anyone really knows how many Secret Societies or Fraternal Orders have spawned from the Vatican. I am sure many of these groups were created with & without the permission of the Papal Regency. Groups established prior to 1882 and the Knights of Columbus: Polish Roman Catholic Union of America, Catholic Knights of America, Catholic Association of Foresters, Czech Catholic Union, Catholic Benevolent Legion and Catholic Knights of St. George just to name a few. And it is anyone's guess how many more were established after 1882...but I am guessing a lot...Ha! |
